About Galway City of Film

Galway City of Film/Ceantar Scannán is a UNESCO designation held by Galway City and County Council and managed on their behalf by Ardán. Ceantar Scannán means Region of Film as Gaeilge. Galway City of Film’s objective is to develop talent in the film industry in Galway City and County as part of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network.

Programme

The annual programme includes bursaries and events such as the Little Cinema 48 Hour Challenge, Short Documentary Bursary, Misleór Short Doc Grant, and Culture Night, plus more.
