Little Cinema and Galway City of Film are delighted to announce the judges for this years 48 Hour Challenge!

Eibh Collins, Short Film Programmer and Film Festival Manager is returning to the judging panel this year and she is joined by:

  • Oisin Mac Coille – Film and Television Director
  • Pat Comer – Independent Filmmaker, Photographer and Visual Storyteller
  • Alan Esslemont – Director General of TG4

We think it’s safe to say there is a wealth of experience and knowledge on this panel and we are thrilled that each judge has agreed to take part.

‘The Little Cinema and Galway City of Film 48 Hour Challenge’ is taking place  from the 7th to 10th June and 10 teams of filmmakers are now in place and they will – write, shoot, and edit – their films in Galway in just 48 hours!

Each of the completed 10 films will be screened in the Town Hall Theatre in Galway City on Sunday 10th June, where the panel of judges will choose the winning film and award the prize of €500!
