To be a skilled sculptor and have sculpts that stand out, you need to be able to master not only the art of form but also the art of texturing. On a life-size head bust, you will be taught to sculpt a wide range of effects.
The course will be taught using a thoroughly hands-on approach. You will receive one to one tuition and have an opportunity to watch other people’s skills and techniques.
In order to get the best out of the week, it is recommended that you have an idea of what you would like to sculpt beforehand, including sketches and references. This is an intensive course, culminating in a finished sculpted character. At the end of the week, we will have a photo shoot in order to show your work at its best. The resulting photos will be ideal for your portfolio.
Once you are finished the course you will take home your masterpiece as a reminder of the skills and techniques you have acquired.
